Jan, there are vey few preserved tugs in the UK, very much different from the Netherlands, maybe only 2 or 3.
I have been involved for many years with the DANIEL ADAMSON of 1903, it was possible to get her back into steam only with almost GBP4 million from our Heritage Lottery Fund! I will post some photos of her.

Wrecked on 24/08/1903 on Whitburn White Steel
She is not in Clyde or Lawson colours here, so the presumption is that this photo shows her at Belfast.

and she is on the stern of the splendid French warship JEANNE D'ARC, I have traced that she was built at Toulon and completed in 1902, 11300 tons displacement, and replaced by a successor of the same name in 1931, so the photo has to be between 1909 and 1931. FIGHTING COCK
