Good afternoon
I am for the time being making a fleet list of a small Norwegian company - Trond A.Kittelsen Shipping A/S, Stathelle. Currently they own tug BOA SUND (243grt/1976) x FLYING OSPREY-05 x CORNELIE WESSELS-86 x JOHANNA-76 and the sheerleg TAKLIFT (994grt/1974) x TAKLIFT 5-02 x ROTTERDAM-91 x LAUTERBOURG-75 (?) I presume the vessel had a Dutch past as ROTTERDAM and TAKLIFT 5 and maybe French as LAUTERBOURG?
It is impossible to find anything about this particular sheerleg. Maybe someone on this forum is able to help with registered owners from 1974?
Entered Norwegian register on 14.02.2002 c/s LK7608 - owners: Taklift A/S c/o Kranringen A/S (Trond A.Kittelsen Shipping A/S) Stathelle. Port of registry Brevik. Name shortened to TAKLIFT.
Best regards
Shipnils

Re: TAKLIFT 5 b.1974
Thank you for a very quick reply Jaap Bijl, but it is not the right TAKLIFT 5. This sheerleg was built at Caillard Normandie S.A, Le Havre, 1974 as LAUTERBOURG. Sold to Dutch owners and renamed ROTTERDAM in 1975 (I am a bit unsure about which year). Again sold in 1991 and became TAKLIFT 5. Hopefully somebody have something to add about this one.
